HUMAN RIGHTS POLICY

    In 2021, an internal human right risk assessment was conducted to identify, prevent and mitigate the impact of human rights risks on the company's operations along the value chain. The criteria for assessing human rights risks were conducted by considering the 2 factors: likelihood and impact, covering human rights in all 6 aspects, namely labor rights, community rights, supply chain, security, environment and consumer rights. Based on human rights risk assessment results, the company has established measures to control and mitigate potential impacts and assess the residual risks after creating preventive and corrective measures.

 

Guidelines

1. Respect human rights and treat each other with respect. Everyone must be treated equally without discrimination in physical, mental, racial, nationality, religion, gender, language, age, skin color, education, social status or any other matters.

2. Exercise caution in performing duties to prevent the risk of human rights violations in business operations.

3. Support and promote actions to protect human rights.

4. Communicate, publicize, educate, create mutual understanding, set guidelines and provide any other support to those involved in conducting business throughout the business value chain and suppliers of goods and services.

5. Organize monitoring of human rights respect without neglect. When an action that is a violation of relevant human rights is witnessed, it must be reported to the supervisors or responsible persons. Everyone must cooperate in investigating for facts. If one has any questions or inquiries, they should be able to directly consult with their supervisors or any responsible personnels through various channels specified.

6. Panjawattana Plastic Public Company Limited Group will provide fairness and protection to persons reporting related human rights violations. It will provide fairness and protection to individuals who report human rights violations related to Panjawattana Plastic Public Company Limited Group by using the protection standards for complainants or those who cooperate in reporting human rights violations as defined in the whistleblowing policy or complaints of corruption.

7. Panjawattana Plastic Public Company Limited Group will continuously develop and implement the Due Diligence Process on human rights management through Government human rights policies and laws, along with the Human Rights Violation statistics collection and the advice of the community to develop properly and sustainably.

8. Organize to analyze and identify the issues to assess the risks of human rights violations by defining affected groups or individuals to plan and determine guidelines for resolving and preventing human rights violations, including follow up the result by offering appropriate mitigation processes in case of human rights violations.

9. Panjawattana Plastic Public Company Limited Group is committed to creating and maintaining an organizational culture that adheres to respect for human rights in accordance with this human rights policy.

10. Human rights violators also violate the ethics of Panjawattana Plastic Public Company Limited group of companies and must be subject to disciplinary action according to the specified regulations. In addition, they may be punished according to the law if such action is illegal.

11. Panjawattana Plastic Public Company Limited will conduct an inspection process and follow up on the results of compliance with human rights policies, including addressing and resolving human rights violations through sub-working groups appointed by the Executive Committee. It will also provide support and cooperation in mitigating the impact caused by or related to the company, such as paying compensation, negotiation for a compromise and present to the Executive Committee to take corrective action and determine preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
